Spoofed phone number from a scam artist.

Jerks. They were already on my list to ignore, but now they've been upgraded to disconnect before the machine records, since they dial out when they get the machine so it records "if you'd like to make a call, please hang up and dial again". Caller id shows "None", which is a good way to guarantee I'll never talk to you anyway.

Called a few times, just silence then an electronic beep, then just hangs up.

No one spoke, but I didn't expect them to.  The call was relayed via a VOIP V102121150025775862

Josh with Universal Mastercard Division asked for the person in charge.  I asked what the purpose of the call was, he said a courtesy call.  I asked again for what purpose.  He said it was about the credit cards and it was just a courtesy call.  I put him on hold to "find the person he needed".

Calls from this number come in with "None" in the caller id, so it will never get answered. After our answering machine finished talking, I pick up the line and and mute it and let them make whatever noise they wish.
