Called when I was at work, didn't leave voicemail.

Got a call from this number... it is Cleveland State University's emergency broadcast number for closings and emergencies.

The number is evidently the CSU alert messaging service.  It hung up on me the first time it called today, but the second time a message alerting me to the school closing, came through.  The alert system only calls if the person is signed up to receive the messages...

Yes, this is a LEGIT number and SHOULD BE added to your contact list, if you are currently a CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY student. Mark it as "CSU EMERGENCY." That way you'll know to pick up your phone rather than think that it is some telemarketing number of some sort and not pick it up at all. My two cents.

I'm getting ready to sue them. I've notified them at least six times that I am not a student and every time there is a little spurt of rain or snow they lose their minds.

What are you talking about.  Sue them?  Are you a moran?  Sheesh, some people's children...what'd you momma do to you boy?

You would probably win only a couple of minutes worth of damages, if you won at all. Maybe $5.

It did not state CSU for me it simply kept repeating the campus is closed due to some air quality or something.
