After 10+ calls, actually answered and said nothing. Heard "Hellooooo?" Then male caller hung up. Tired of these calls.

Same thing.  I did answer once it the person/machine mentioned a gift card because I answered a survey and I know I didn't answer a survey giving this number, so it has to a scam of some sort.

Calls often; when I pick up I hear a click after about a second or two and then nothing.

this call i get from the illinois number at the most stupidist hours in the morning and i get it like three to fur times a day during work really pissing me off what can i do?

This number calls me over and over.  I try to pick up to tell them to leave me alone but there is no one there

Have received 10 calls from this number, never anyone there, and when we call back it rings a couple of times and then goes to some weird piano music.

This 217-909-4849 number calls me EVERYDAY!!! I dont know who they are I NEVER pick up because I am busy or asleep. They def. have the wrong person I have'nt had this number that so I know they have to be calling the wrong person. This is harassment and they should be ashamed for disturbing people like this I want it to STOP!!!

I don't know who is calling from this number.  I regularly get calls from this number and don't want to get called from this number.  Whomever is calling, does not leave a message.  I am enrolled in the DO NOT CALL LIST.

My husband receives 4-6 calls every day on his cell phone. He doesn't answer them but they continue to call. EVERY DAY. It gets old REALLY fast. He's going to start answering the phone...and at the ready is a whistle. If there is a person on the other end, he's blowing it. Enough is enough. Time to start irritating them as much as they irritate us.

These people call every single day...at least 3-5 times...no one ever says anything...I told them to stop calling me and they hung up, but keep calling

I've tried ignoring them, but they have called my phone 10 times in the past 10 days.  They keep calling my cell phone, which I've registered with the Federal Do Not Call List, but I can't register with my state Do Not Call.  I made the mistake of answering the first time, because I work in Illinois and do business with companies in the 217 area code.  I got a recording, so I couldn't tell it to take me off their list.

FIrst time they called a person named Steven Long said I'd won a $100 WalMart gift card. I'm like, oh boy, cool. Then he asked for my email address so he could send me the info to get the card. I told them, no, you got my phone number, you can find my address in public records, mail me the info cause this sounds like a scam to get information out of me for your own use. The other end of the line was like turning a radio to the end of the dial and turning the volume way up. I hung up after a prolonged pause.

Second time they called, I heard a person utter a couple of syllables, then nothing.

Wish I could reach through the phone and throttle them for wasting my time. I'll try the random numbers trick next time. Let them suck on that.

I have asked repeatedly to be taken off their phone list.  Steven told me last week he would put me on the do-not-call list and he has called me twice today!!!!!  I told him the first time, not to call and he still called back!!!!!
