I just got this call at 9:35am, I amswered then no one was on the line, so I dailed the number back and a pre-recorded message said "thanks for calling customer link, we are a marketing firm handling customers across the US"  or something like that.  To be removed press #1 to talk to a rep press #2.  So I pressed #1 and got a "this mailbox is full" message.  So I called back and pressed #2, then I spoke to a rep, who said they would take my number off thier calling list, so maybe I will get lucky and not get anymore calls from this company

I JUST got a call from this number. Odd. Hung up as soon as I answered.

They called and called, and usually When i answered, No one was there. But
The other day, I answered, And It was some guy, All he said was Hello, Hello?
And then I hung up.
It was weeeeeeiiiirdd.

Calls, and calls,and calls, never leaves message. What a PAIN!!! What is wrong with these people.  LEAVE US ALOOOOONE!!

I called back within 5 minutes of receiving a call from  218-740-2135 and got automated message "this number has been disconnected"

I got the same thing! They start to bother me since 04/26/08 (keep calling me on my cell).
Usually I have 2 calls: one came in an afternoon and another came around 7:00-7:30 PM (CTZ) on a work days… They immediately hung up as soon as I answered… weird…

I got a call from a Guy who siad he work for kcpl and wanted to know if I wanted Insurance for my TV and electric items in the house. He said it would be 5.00 extra to my kcpl bill. I thought that was strange so I look up the number and something did seem right, I think its a scam shouldnt kcpl call me not them?

3 calls right in a row and when I called back a vm msg gave an option to be "removed from their marketing list" but never listed a company name.  Surprise, when I tried to choose that option it auto-transferred me to a voicemail box that is full....

Have been receiving calls from this number for about three months now.  Since finding this web site and replies, I posted this # to make sure no one answers this number.

I HAVE BEEN GETTING THESE CALLS AT LEAST ONCE A DAY FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!!!!! WHAT CAN WE DO TO STOP THESE?

IF you answer, they ALWAYS hang up.  Obviously attempting to hack the DND listings.  If you call the number, their mailbox to remove your number is ALWAYS full.  They are a Sales/Marketing/Telemarketer call.  
Best bet?  Short of filing criminal charges?  www.donotcal.gov.  File a Federal Telemarketing complaint against them.

I just called to be removed and asked why the calls were hanging up. The customer service rep said they use a predictive dialer. This is software that dials a bunch of phone numbers as once knowing that a certain % won't be answered. If they aren't quite accurate or if a call center rep isn't ready they just drop the call instead of playing a recording while you hold.

They're pretty friendly and almost eager to take your name off their lists. An ounce of politeness will get you far with this company.
