Got a call at 8 am this morning.  I have an add for puppies for sale.  She wanted to know how many were for sale, then hung up.  Wondering if they are looking to steal puppies

Got the same call today. Wanted me to list puppies. But it is a scammer

I only answer numbers i know didn't know this one, so i googled it like everything else.  I got this site, glad i didn't answer, i also have an add for pure bred puppies for sale.  I think I will answer next call and tell them about this site and see what they say.  who do you report this call to though.  they are still trying to call me and when i tried to call the 222 222 2231 a recording says the call can not be completed as dialed.

I received this call too; I had puppies for sale-the person calling had a foreign accent

Oh man!  I am glad I found this - I also have puppies for sale - I placed an ad in the Denver post.

I have been receiving these calls.  I also had puppies listed for sale in the Oregonian a few weeks ago.  They called my cell and I called my cell provider and they are not even showing this call ever on my bill.  Beware, I also have been receiving calls from a 408 area code ( this is a scam 408-587-2116 and 623-238-6228).  

And I repeat never anwser a call from a 908 area code please google 908 scam and you will be horrified of the phone charges that could be billed to you.

  My wife and I have been recieving strange phone calls.  We also have puppies for sale.  The person on the phone had an accent and asked if we wanted to post an add.  I to believe this is some sort of scam.  Called back two days in a row with different phone #'s 222-222-2231 or last digits 2225.

This number is a scam to purchase puppies. Foreign based scam wanting your personal details stating they are interested in purchasing a puppy.
If you have an ad placed anywhere for puppies more than likely you will receive a scam call from this number. Actually there is a series of the same number with the last 2 digits or the last digit of the number changed. They will also use a operator to speak to you on their behalf.

End the call, tell them you screen all potential buyers of your pups. Usually they will abruptly hang up. If not, then tell them you are not interested in selling to them.

Whatever you do....DO NOT give out your personal info to them!

iv gotten two of these in the past ten minutes. its a good thing i read all these after the first one. when i got the second one i just listened and hung up. they were from 222-222-2224 and 2231

Called us because we have ads up for pups also.  She was from a different country and we figured it was a scam so told them no puppies, they just hung up.

Got a call from (222) 222-2231 and (222) 222-2222. Also had puppies for sale. How bothersome. Glad I found this site.
