i just received the call from 223-991-5700. i didnt answer it because i feel if their not important enough to reveal who they are...then their not important enough for me to answer the call. but she did leave a message on woicemail just saying "hello. hello. hello". and hangs up. it was silent for a minute or so before she said hello and a minute after she said it. sounded like a foreigner.

I've been getting a call from this number all of a sudden lately.  They call every day!  I don't answer cuz the number seemed weird, and they never leave a message.  Today I tried calling the number back to see who it is, and it's not even calling from the states!  It's an international call.  So you can probably guess that it's definitely a scam!!

Annoying..I am sick of these call's..

My son has been getting these calls on his cell phone. We are also on the do not call list. Calls comming in every 2 hours. One time they left a message about info he requested about a morgage. My son is 16 I don't think he wants to buy a house right now !!!!!!!!!! They are scam artist, I'd like to know how there getting thru to everybody on the do not call list. By the way the calls are from Mali.

This is in Africa, southwest of Algeria

Called three times trying to interest me in a mortgage even though I told them the first time I did not need one.

This must be a scam, not just telemarketing, just try calling back this number and it's disconnected.

Keep receiving phone calls from phone number  223-991-5700.   They hang up on my answering machine.

Been receiving calls for the past two days. I picked up the phone last night and I just heard wind in the background.

Some one who claims to be a mortgage broker from Profolio home mortgage call me from this number trying to get my business. When I call back the person I spoke with said he was in Dallas Tx and that he never call anybody

Calls my work phone 2 or 3 times a week asking to speak to Kristen....The number shows up as 223-991-5700... We don't have a Kristen that works here.... I told him to stop calling...he said okay

This number called and asked for me specifically. My son told her I was not at home. My number is a brand new listing. Don't you hate people who don't care about you privacy?? I know I do!

Supposedly a representative of Dish Network.  Could barely understand his English; probably from overseas somewhere.  Said his name was Leron Miller.  I cut him off and said we're on the National Do-Not-Call List and to remove my number from his database.

yeah this number is annoying! just turned on phone service and they call 2x a day.

This number called my husband's cell # today.  Claimed to be from Lending Tree (I think Profolio Mortgage).  Wanted to know if we ever found a house and why we never contacted them about financing it.  I have not looked at LT since October of 2006.  He knew personal info about my husband (SSN, Employer, etc).  Asked for mine but husband didn't know it.  Is supposed to call back tonight.  I think I will have a few words for him since I am the the financial handler in our house.  Now I am worried about ID theft though.

As soon as I put in the fifth number, I got a recording that said my call couldn't be completed as dialed.

Didn't answer, called my cellphone that is listed in the donotcall registry.

I just received my first call from this number.  Not knowing who it is and not recognizing the number I put into an internet search and this is what I came up with, this page full of people getting hassled by someone from this number.  I hope one day we will all be able to live in a world where you aren't being hustled for something by someone all the time.  Who's with me?

Caller claims to be a mortgage broker from Profolio.  Caller claimed I had applied online for their service.  When I pressed caller for details, he claimed they were forwarded my information from LendingTree.com "18 to 20 months ago."  I told them we've been out of the market for months and did not need their services.

Something smells about this whole thing.

A guy called Nixon stated he was from portfolio mortgage calling to verify some pretty personal information.
