I received one as well today, for $449.99 from DNB Retail.

I got an email today from paypal tor a renewal from DNB Retail for $449.99 1 year membership renewal.  But, the email looks like Paypal but it came from Amanda Smith and not from paypal.  The email address was Amanda Smith <mollimumap@gmail.com> .  Total scammers.  The funny thing is that I don't have a paypal account.  I'm probably the 1% that doesn't use paypal.

I do not have a PayPal account and I got the following email from Jean Pullum at 001gloriajemsbh@gmail.com

I received the exact same email with the same reference number except the amount is $449.99 for a year membership program. The date on my email is 8/4/21. I reported the email I received to the Federal Trade Commission. I did call to confront them and right away they asked for my checking account number. I hung up right away. I know it's a scam due to not having a PayPal account.

called number and they answer as paypal and verbally said the same when questioned.  charge is for 449 for dnb retail.  email is selena looney <harbitjonaki@gmail.com>

I had the same email word for word, except the payment was $449.99.

I got the same message for 499.99

I got the same message same numbers

Got one today. No money has been taken out my paypal

got email 1st advising me of $449.99 being deducted outta my PayPal acct. for some type of security computer subscription for a year that I never subscribed too.......Called them back to inquire and guy told me I could go in and cancel the subscription but 1st I had to download the link that he will send me.....Stupid here did so and I just kept getting sent links to keep downloading......Finally told the guy to forget it an hung up on him.......He called me back 3x to talk with me and I just went in and blocked the # to stop the calls.......I contacted PayPal butthey couldn't do anything cuz nothing was showing in my acct......also notified my bank, cancelled the DEBIT card
that was on my PayPal Acct and got a new DEBIT card.......my last move was I filed a Fraud Complaint with the FTC giving them all the info and copy of the email that they sent me............

Interesting how you neglected the fact that your computer is now infected with malware, etc. and that you did nothing about it.
