I receive multiple calls from random numbers all day, even more since I switched to a different cell service, and whenever I search them if this page doesn't come up, it's usually something that I can find with a "Hodges Directory" (which if you go to the site you'll see a normal person's name and address).  No messages are ever left.  So clearly, since this page didn't come up and the Hodges one did, I'm calling this another spoofed number and a fake.

Had this before, last month. Thought it was a real person the first time. Woman says "Oh!" Then giggles. (I hung up the first time.) Second time I stayed quiet. Same start, same giggle, then, "Let me adjust my headset," and I said, "No, I am hanging up now," and as I put the receiver down she was still talking. I then remembered last month's call and figure it was so similar it was probably a recording. Anyway, I didn't say "Yes."

Had calls from 248-327-1667 twice (so far) today and one from 248-823-7952. Anymore I answer and immediately hang up on unrecognized out-of-area calls. It saves having to clear my voicemail of the tail-ends of robocall messages.

I get that scammers are scammers. I don't get how little seems to be done to crack down on them. Maybe too much profit in it for companies that enable it. Verizon lets me temporarily block only 5 numbers at a time, unless I pay them more to block 20. I've had scam calls from more than 20 different numbers so far this year, so what's the point?!

Got a call....didn't answer...looked it up...just as I suspected...SCAM.  I never answer unknown calls...if they can't leave a message then fork em....if everyone did this these bast**ds would dry up but most people are too stupid and answer the calls. They will swear at them or do other ridiculous things and don't realize that all they are doing is acknowledging that their number is a live number which will be added to a list of suckers to be sold or passed down the line to other scammers.

Call was unanswered and went to voicemail. The message starts out...  "Hey, I'm so sorry about that. I was having a little problem with my headset, ha ha. Anyway, my name is Emily....."   This synthetic human-like robocaller tells me that I won four days and three nights at Disney as well as three days and two nights on a cruise to the Bahamas... with all meals included plus a rental car with unlimited mileage so I can see all of the attractions that beautiful Florida has to offer. All for the low low price of 75% off... 75% off of some undisclosed price. It also mentioned that I "won" this because I recently stayed at one of their "qualified resorts"... Which I have not, I have not left home in three years!

Called my cell.  Don't know anyone at that number so I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Number blocked.

I tried that once, but couldn't fully block them. I could only prevent them from ringing. I still ended up with voicemails -- usually the end part where it says "press 1 to speak to a rep." They also appeared in my recent calls.

It wasn't so bad when I had Visual Voice Mail. I could easily see and delete unwanted messages. Verizon took it away from my S4 but says I can have it back if I buy a new phone.

There was actually a good piece of info in there: the scammers will still benefit from people answering the call, even if they don't get anything else from it.

Called me yesterday midday.  There wasn't even an entry for the number on these sites yet.  Obvious scam call, as evidenced by the other comments.  Don't answer unknown numbers.  If you do, and it's a scam call, never say "yes".  They'll use your voice recording to do all kinds of stuff in your name.

Looks that way to me. Fake vacation scam. Do not answer unknown calls and do not call them back.
