Got a call, but didn't answer and they left no message?

I received a call from this number and they wanted me to give them my credit card number for a hospital bill. They had the correct day that I was at the ER, but the amount they said I owe was way off. The guy sounded like he became nervous when I told him that I have been sending my payments to the hospital itself. He kept asking for my credit card number and social security number until I finally hung up. I tried calling the number back and it said that it was a non-working number. Beware of this scam!

This number is from Greater San Antonio Emergency Physicians.  Their call back number depends on the group they are calling for.

i got a call from them asking to verify my daughter's birthday and billing address.  i told them the hospital bill had been paid off.  they didn't even say for what it was, but I told them I had already paid the bills via the hospital directly
