From Canada Revenue Agency. Said there was a lawsuit filed under my name..
Received same call from another BC number..

Threatening arrest warrant if receiver does not call back and provides an account number. In no way does it confirm identity, as CRA would, doesn't even ask for name.

Gave an account number and threatened to issue an arrest warrant if I did not call back.

Automated phone recording starting that the CRA is suing me and if I did not call the number that was given to me, an arrest warrant would be issued for me.

A lawsuit being filed in my name!

Threatening and odd call with message - if i dont get back to them about  lawsuit they will get the police to arrest me. It appears several others have the same problem

I did call it back after being threatened I would be put in jail...They didn't know my name, they wanted my information and when I asked if this auditing was an issue it should be in my CRA account and the caller disappeared... I called my accountant

Find it strange that I just received the same threatening robot call within 30 minutes of logging onto Revenue Canada site??!!! Is this a coincidence?

CRA scam call. coming from British Columbia. ignore. Ironically i filed my tax few days ago. did someone else filed there test recently as well as in that case, someone from cra is involved.

Just a voice mail ( twice within 2 hrs) to call back or an arrest would be issued under my name. Wait for fhe cops i suppose....

Just got the same call

I got the phone call today, said calling from CRA ;they gonna arrest me , and my name is under a sue case. Asked me about my address and my name..... was so scared

He phoned me yesterday and sended the voice mail twice saying lawsuit with me name.

Received a call.  They wanted to verify name address, etc. Gave name and badge number. Sounded Asian. Poor language skills. Claimed that there was a lawsuit filed by the IRS against me. The call came in from Texas.
