Multiple calls a day just hangs up in 6 seconds. I think the telephone company should do a trace on this phone and get rid of these boring people, they need s life!!

We got a call from this number (250-220-9399) at about 09:10 this a.m.
The "lady" on the other end was a rude condesending twit (being nice as anyone can read these posts)
This individual was calling to speak to my wife, I listened in, in all my life (56 years) I've rarely heard a more unprofessional attitude from a company employee. I did *69 to get the number & got a "busy" signal.  I tried later in the afternoon, no answer.

I just got a call from them after receiving multiple calls - no messages.  I called them back and it is indeed Canadian Tire.  I missed a payment (well, I didn't miss it - I just paid another credit card what I should have paid Canadian Tire) so they were just reminding me.  I asked her why they don't leave messages and she said it is their privacy policy but they have been getting lots of complaints because even when the person picks up, no one is there.  Anyways, she was very nice to speak even though I started out not very pleasant to her.  I apologized to her because she didn't deserve my curtness.

The Main Ctire Financial Services reps dont even know a "generic" company is being used. Had to go thru security & then mgmnt to get some info which took an hour! Stop shopping@ their stores/complain to Head Office. Its your personal banking info handled by UNQUALIFIED UNPROFESSIONALS &U R@ RISK OF ID THEFT.

From what I"m reading this caller is Canadian (Taiwan) Tire?   I have never had one of their credit cards but I do have a new Cell phone number so I'm guessing I'm now on their hit list for someone else. I answer and no one is there which ps's me off.

If they don't stop calling me, I'll be glad to make some personal appearances in their department store customer service desks,  and loudly discuss their bs calls.  I am always polite to the employees when I use this tactic, but they don't like that their prospective customers might hear me talking rather loudly about the companies harassing policies.

I've done this with Telus, Shaw and a few car dealerships after they have tried some ripoff bs and it's often been the only way to to get results.  Even Peewee Herman debt collectors think they are Hercules when they are berating you over the phone.  Face to face works.
