They left a vMail saying I HAVE TO CALL THEM BACK RIGHT AWAY TO STOP THE ARREST WARRANT THAT HAS BEEN ISSUED!!!

I was tempted to call them back just to screw with them but I've got better things to do.  LOLROF!!

Why is this number calling my phone

Must be a new irs scam.  Same message e as the others,  that an arrest warrant was issued due to tax evasion.

This number told me to call back and contact their attorney about they arrest warrant issued for me... in a place I've never been to. I called back just for fun, but the number came back as inactive :_(

Same voicemail as others on here saying they've issued an arrest warrant for tax evasion and it was a computer generated voice- iPhone caller ID says Kent, WA

Have received 4 calls from them today leaving a message that if I don't call back and talk to their attorney that I am going to be arrested. I know the IRS does not threaten you like that on the phone.

I received the same call. They called back later that day and I answered the phone they hung up. It seems that they want you to return the call.

Someone called from this number and said I should speak to their attorney (and pay them $1000+) or I would be arrested. I could barely understand his Indian accent. Said it was tax evasion. Give me a break.

I received the same message today. I called back from another number . An Indian speaking main answered the phone with IRS....Get a little more creative

Same thing with me a Indian guy anwsred the phone and told me I owe money to the IRS  I told him that was a lie and that this was a stupid call and then he said what do u mean this is a stupid call I said because its just stupid. Nd I said I will get ahold of the police department if he didn't stop threating me and he said I am the police officer and we are coming to your house now to arrest u. Nd I said u don't even have my address and he said we can get it from your phone number.  So be ready to go to jail. A bunch of bull crap

Yes, I just received the SAME phone call. I can PROMISE I do not have any warrants against me and do not owe the IRS. LOL. Nice try.

I received the same and thought, why would the IRS call about a state property tax issue.  It is obviously a scam. Nice to have the Internet to look these things up though and learn about the experience of others for some reassurance.

Got the same call today. They call me every year playing the same trick, but with a different number every year.

Got the same call with same message.  This is the first time they left a message.  They have called at least 2 times a week for the last 2 mos.  I do not answer because I do not recognize the number.  They never leave a message.  This is the first time they left a message regarding a warrant for my arrest.

Same thing!!!!  The sad thing is,  is that some of the elderly or the more gullible will actually full victim to these crooks.  I had actually just got off the phone with the IRS then they called...... What CROOKS

just called & left the same message. when I called back, got a recorded message saying I was not authorized to call their number. too bad. I have some free time and wanted to harass them for a while.

This number called me yesterday and again today.  Both times, they left an automated voicemail saying that I needed to call them back, talk to their attorney, and work on getting the arrest warrant for tax evasion taken care of.  I do not owe any taxes and they would not be the ones issuing a warrant, anyway.  Not sure what their scam is, since I called their number back and it just beeped at me a lot.
