9000 Government grant scam call

Government scam call... Wanted my address and infor

Private number keeps calling. I answer to jave a guy named mike young or so he says. I have a grant but it will cost me 195.00 tp get 9000 from western union. Didnt pay. Wont pay a scammer

This is crazy.

I recive a call from this number talking about I get $9000  from the  government and I have to pay $195 in wester union to secure that amount that's crazy and when I ask the guy to stop calling me I no need it  . He sad we will get after you and they know my location and also I'm in big truble because I'm cursing and I'm asking them to stop calling me . Really those guys is toooo much the F B I.  Has to do somthing about it  .

I received a call from the "Federal Grants Department." They called me to verify my personal information and to give me a number to call with a Verification ID number. I enjoy cracking wise, so i called. The fella on the other side told me I was approved for a grant of $7,000.00. I was able to get him to agree to $40,000.00 after some negotiating. He instructed me to go to the local Money Gram center and set up an account. It would cost me $255.00 but that I would get it back with my grant money. A total of $40,255.00. He also stated that he would stay on the line while I drove to Walmart. Muahaha. This is where the fun began. I informed him that the money center was closed in Walmart and asked "what I should do now?" He  was kind enough to look up another location for me. It was 2 hours away. I informed him that I could not drive and talk at the same time but to hold on the line until we got there. I had him on hold for 3 hours and 13 minutes before he finally hung up. My phone was on mute and speaker phone on my desk the whole time. Before he hung up I was informed,  in a very colorful manner, how much of a bad person I am for wasting his time.
He was willing to wait on hold for over 3 hours to take my money without second thought on praying on naive people and I'm a bad person.
Call again guys. I'm waiting.

So I entertain the thought of this phone call, so I listened for 15 minutes, but the funny part was the grant is from the U.S. government, but I could barely understand a thing he was saying. Then he asked if I wanted the money in my bank account or western union, so I picked western union after the song and dance I asked how much do I have to pay, he said 210 for 9000 I said if you're sending me 9000 take it out of that.

A fellow with a very thick accent I could hardly understand called from an unknown line & informed me that I was eligible to receive free grant money in the amt of $9000 (claimed to be w/ the federal government & work at 200 Independence SW Avenue in Washington).  He said I need to go to a moneygram place.  He gave me a phone number 253-216-8095.  Not falling for it but people should know about it.

I just got a call from this number saying they were from the federal government and that i was going to receive $9000.00 and to give him my personal address and confirm my information\
and that i would receive this $. I then hung up, and they called back from the same un known # , then gave me a number to call back 1-253-216-8095 with a confirmation number #.
I hung up again, and they called back blocked #.. Not falling for this .. Heads up , never give your personal  information out//

this is a robbery please do not fall into that. I got a call from an unknown number and was told that the government gave me a grand 9000 and to call that number. I never call. because I suspect

I just received one of these calls. They told me I was to get $9000. from the government. Then they gave me a confirmation number and a phone number to call back with for instructions on how to get the money. This is the second time they have called. The last time they called I told them with all the hungry people in the world I didn't think the government would be handing out free money to do with as we please. He said OOH yes its yours to do with what ever. So I told him I wanted a striper pole and he proceeded to tell me if I needed more money just let him know. LIKE REALLY!

I got a call from an unknown number telling me to call back 253-292-6045 telling me that i have been approved for a 9,000$ government grant loan... I believed out because i had filled out applications for school grants, and loans... When i called the Number and gave them a temperary green dot card number that i hardly use they said i could get the money transferred in 15 to 20 mins but i had to pay a 225$ fee through western union... at that point i knew it was a scam and told the guy i was no longer interested... And to cancel the whole thing... The guy wouldn't give up and told me to call back anytime... I ended up hanging up on him... Don't do this it is a scam.

got a call for a unknown  told to call 253-216-8095 and give my conformation number did not call but did a search found it to be a scam so I reported it thru Extortion Scam Online Reporting website US Dept. of Justice /DEA

I received a call from a woman first saying that the government under TANF WAS AWARDING ME CASH FLOW OF 9000 dollars, but I must deposit 150 as a fee into NY federal Bank, to receive thchee cash. His Name is Mike Tyler, ext.14280 . Can you check this? o.S.

Just received a call from a young girl that could barely speak English to tell me about this $9000 that I had been awarded.  She gave me a code number beginning with AS, then told me to call (253) 216-8095.  I told that that this was fantastic news, and that I was so excited to hear more about this 'free money'.  Proceeded to throw the number away.  Who has time for this! Horrible scam, because I am sure that some people actually fall for this.

A man with a very thick accent eventully gave me an address (200 Independence SW Ave HHS Bldg. Washington DC 20201) and said I was eligible for a grant. I was instructed to call 253-216-8095 and give the man on the other end a code . The man who answered was foreign, and was livid that MY number did not show up on his ID. "Why you not have phone number?" I said because mine is a private number. He was angry and insisted I give him my number right away........so I told him hold on and I'd be right back.......SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
