Caller ID shows up as United Breast Cancer Foundation.

Keeps calling

This call came in at 8:10 am which I believe is against the rules!!

She wants to speak with the head of the household. Why?

United Breast Cancer Foundation is located in Huntington, NY, so if these callers are really representatives of UBCF, they use numerous phone numbers with area codes in our area. According to sites on the internet, only 15% of the contributions actually go to charity.
I have asked, told and demanded that they put me on their "do not call" list to no avail. Now I just ignore, or pick up and hang up when I see the caller ID. One would think they'd get the hint and quick calling daily.

Received land phone call at 0851 on 2-16-18 from a female (or robot?).  Caller stated "Wendell?"  I asked who was calling twice, no response, line went silent, so I guess they cut me off.  I did not answer her question with "YES," because the call may be a scam where my recorded response could be used against me.

Called, but we don't answer for unknown  callers.    I will now block base on above comments.  Thanks!

Called March 14th and left no message.  I have received many calls from the Breast Cancer outfit and of course I don't answer them.  Guess I won't block this number since I have received other calls from the same outfit with different numbers.  They can call all they want to but will never be answered.

They called and asked for, by first name, an individual who does not live here.  I have had this telephone number for nearly 16 years.  Why are they calling me??  I have never had any communication with these people, which is why they are calling using the name of someone who does not live here nor has any connection with my telephone number.
