May be a randomly spoofed number.  Calls and hangs up.  Doesn't leave messages.   May be scanning for working numbers.   I get a channel congested message when I dial it from asterisk.  I've tried my own CID as well as many out of service and invalid numbers, if it does go through before my termination provider times out the call, it just rings and rings and rings, then hangs up.  Disclaimer: Do not do what I am doing unless you know what you are doing.  Ive been doing this a long time.  I try and gather information for this site and others.  It's best to just use a whitelist blocker, and a service like the one that I can't mention here.
