I got a call  from this man calling himself kevin smith. said that I had borrowed some money from cash advance.  I trying to commit id thef. First of all he had alot of my information. Then i ask him for some dates, that he couldn't give me. He told me he could not get his hands on that information. What type of bull is that. But here is the funny thing, He said his was an attorneys. He also wanted my attorneys information. Like I have an attorney 24/7. said he wished me the best of luck in court and that I coulld be face up to seven years in prison. But that real dont want to take me to court (how sweet lol) but could fix it with him. by the way never borrowed any money from these people, but I had tried never went through with filling out all the paperwork. guess they had a nothing

I just got a call from this person too that left a msg on my WORK#?? I have not spoke to him but have no idea what the call is about?

they keep calling me also on my cell and work phone.  the funny thing is that every time they call it comes in as a different number but this is the number they leave for me to call them back.

on January 21, 2011, I recieved a call from a man with a thick middle eastern accent claiming to be from LLC Law Firm. He proceed to tell me that I took money from Advance America in the amount of $550.00, who was my lawyer and that they were prosecuting me with 3 felony counts
Count 1 Federal Banking Regulations
Count 2 Check Fraud
Count 3 Theft by Deciption
I explained #1 I dont have an account with this company and that the felony counts dont exist. He then "transfered" me to his manager with another thick heavy middle eastern accent by the name of "John Wilson" who then proceeded to tell ME all of MY personal info, SS#, Bank Account #, Home Address, Work address, email. I asked Mr. Wilson to give me his contact # and address For my "attorney" he told me that he was in Washington and his phone # was 253-243-1313. (411 revealed its a Kent Washington # but no ID)  Refused to give me a physical address. he then proceeded to threaten me with 5 years in prison,,,ya sure Mr. Wilson..and that if I didnt send them the money with fees they were going to send some one to arrest me.
I know the call was a scam, I work at at a bank so i am well versed in the Banking regs and consumer protection laws, It was the fact they had ALL OF MY PERSONAL INFO!
When I told Mr. Wilson to send me the info via certified mail and to not ever call me again. He called me back with Physical, sexual threats. I again hung up on him. They called several more times. I did not answer. I really wish they were stupid enough to leave a msg or call my work # which is recorded.
I was unable to get a whole lot of info to report but I do have a list of Caller ID #'s that came up

I have closed my Bank Account , Pulled my Credit, put a fraud alert on my credit etc. Fortunantly no activity on any accounts or on credit.
