I keep getting messages from this phone number. It is someone named Adam Smith who has a severe middle eastern accent. He keeps telling me that I need to get an attorney. I have recently been harrassed by someone calling from a different number. Same accent...same m.o. It is a scam. They are just trying to get money from you. Ignore the phone calls if you can. DO NOT give them any information.

I have been receiving messages from this guy with the heavy accent too. Threating me  and telling me to have my attorney call him right away. He is going to bring police officers to my home and arrest me if I don't call him back! I have been receiving these calls since Feb. 2011. Will call at least 4-5 times a day!! I don't answer the phone--he calls from numerous phone numbers. I want these calls STOPPED. Any suggestions??  I know this is a SCAM.

Ugh...the same thing happened to me. Every few months, I get these calls - each time from a different number. This time, as I always do, I told the guy to produce proof that I owed this "money" he says "I've been running from." He says, I just did. I told you about it. It's the same thing every time. Whatever you do. DO NOT give these people any info. Unfortunately, I've tried calling the BBB and FTC and there's nothing anyone can do because they are routing U.S. numbers from India and it can't be policed.

i have just recieved a phone call from the same man calling himself all smith. he has several different names that he goes by. he was calling my home phone once i stopped answering he started to call my work number. BEWARE THIS IS A SCAM.

these numbers are a scam. my husband got a call from one number awhile ago. They told him he defaulted on a payday loan he had.  Which was bs cause the loan company takes payments out of his acocunt every 2 weeks.  But they dropped the name of the company he hhas the loan with, so he had given them his card number.  Luckily, i searched the number and found out in time before they could take out a 'payment' and he got to the bank and ordered a new card.  There has got to be a way these numbers can be stopped.  These people are scammers, and need to get off their asseds and get a job and stop stealing from hard working people.

I'm getting the same thing, and once a while back. I told them that I was in law enforcement and wanted their supervisors name and they hung up on me. I could hear people in the background yelling M*****F*****, so no official office will you hear anything in the background. I just list them under reject number, and after a few times they will stop calling. But they are passing your number(as well as mine) around. I couldn't catch the first name cause his accent was so strong, but the last name was Smith

They Call And Say That I Owe Them Money On A Loan That I took out and that was deposited into my checking account.  That I used the money and now I owe it back to them...I have NEVER taken a loan out with anyone, let alone someone who is so nasty.  They continue to say on the message over and over and I will be arrested for stealing and that I need to get a lawyer due to my theft.  WTH, These People Really need a life.  I just list these numbers under DO NOT ANSWER and hope they enjoy my new song when they call me :-) Don't Stress It People, We Are NOT Alone in this battle with these annoying A**es.

These calls are very annoying. Been going on about one year now every month or so from different numbers. I, too, am getting ready to change my number, but they also call my brother, looking for me! Not sure how they got both our numbers and linked them . . . when I reverse looked up this phone #, it said International Telecom, Ltd. W from King, Washington.

Awhile back I had get a loan from payday.com or Advanceme.com now these people are calling me left and right that I owed money.  The harrasement stop for a few days then it start again.  Any one know how to get rid of them?  How do you get these people to stop calling you at work, home, and cell?  I am so tired of these call.  I am so f** anoyed.

they keep calling me too, but they have my SSN and address somehow, im worried they will steal my idenity!! what do i do?

I have been getting numerous calls for months about once or twice a week. It seems like the same guy always calling but its from different numbers. I get calls from NY, NJ, PA, & CA numbers. This is a scam and hopefully no one falls for it. I have a couple friends in law enforecement and one that works for the state and these numbers they are calling from are not able to be traced because they are linked to international companies. Thats why when they leave you a message telling you to have your legal representation call to make sure the call is non recorded because they know they are trying to pull a scam. My friends advised me to make a complaint with my states attorney general and the FBI. I have records of every call I have received from this same person and a recording of every message that I have given to my state under my complaint and they have told me this isnt the first time they have had complaints on these phone numbers. I hope this info is helpful and the best advice I can give is just ignore the calls and keep track of all the phone calls for your complaint.

I contacted the Attorney General and they know about this people. They told me because the people are calling from different numbers it is hard for them to track them down....Hopefully one day they will run them back where they came from...until then they said DO NOT give them any information. They have stolen our information from check cashing places, cash advance places. It is frustrating. They have been harrassing me since 2009. I block every number they call from so now it picks up and hangs up on them.Scumbags they are.....

Just got a call from them today! Scared the [***] out of me. But i looked them up and found this. Thank god i did. The number has also been shown to the police department i work.

i got the same thing.  i dont answer calls that i do not know.  i search them before i call back.  i hate when these people get our info and turn it around to claim we owe money and scare the heck out of us.

Now they are sending emails stating they are a bank and will give you a loan at 1.50 percent...
