I was just wondering the same thing as they don't leave a message

Who is calling me from 253=248-6409? They do not Identify
their self.

it shows up on my phone as wafop.  I think it's the Washington State Fraternal Order of Police...probably soliciting for $$

Back in 4/7/09, caller id would show WAFOP.
As of 4/15/09, caller id would show Federal Way, WA.

They are soliciting for money and they know your name and address.

Trust me, when I first moved to my apt., I received a call from them. At the time my phone with caller id was miss placed so I was using a phone without caller id. They got $10 out of me.

They called me and talked me into a $15 donation.  Now they are calling me daily and it doesn't stop until I pick up the telephone and talk to them.  My caller ID says Federal Way WA.  Also, alfter I gave them my donation, I started getting calls from police agencies as far away as Florida and the calls started coming from local firemen groups.

Yeah seriously, how many friggin' Fraternal Orders of Police are in Washington State anyhow?! And why do they need money so frequently? And how are they not bound by the Do-Not-Call list? If you ask me, anyone who calls wanting my money IS a solicitor, whether they're actually giving you something for your money or not!

I am on the Do not call List so I am filing a complaint with them.

very annoying and dont give them money or they will hound you for the rest of your life.  Ive given them $120 over the course of 2 years, each time i give them money i request they never call me, it buys me 1 month of time before they hound me again.   I cant get them to stop, they will call me 6 times a day if i dont answer.

Grrr....I feel all your pain, these people call our house non stop!!! Everyday after 8 and as late as 9 I get up very early, 9pm is very late for a stupid soliciter call I am also on the do not call list shows what good that is!  I have asked to be removed several times, today I called them back, spoke to a lady she said I would be removed from list it would take up to 48 hours as soon as I hung up they called back, I let them have it....Don't give them money it's a scam!

My number is on the Federal "Do Not Call" list. These guys at WAFOP keep calling me. I have told them not to call for donation solicitation. I have filed complaints with Federal "Do Not Call" registry. I have called WAFOP back and asked them to stop calling. Nothing seems to work with this and the spam calls keep coming. Help!
