Received a call from this number.  Hung up

I've received 3 calls from this number within the last 2 weeks. The first two times I missed the call and the caller did not leave a message. The last time the caller hung up when I answered.

I've received phone calls from this number, they will not leave a message when they call.

VOLT.  Caller asked if we received the phone book left for delivery on our doorstep last week.

VOLT.  Nobody there when we picked up.

Received a call on 6/13/08.  No message left.

Multiple calls, no message.

Got a call from this number asking if I received my phone book.  Wanted to verify my address and asked my name and to speak with someone.  I hung up but they did have my correct address.  The voice sounded kind of weird to me.  I hope it's just a spammer who wanted to send junk mail.  Rather that than a creep.

Rec'vd call and got a hang up upon "hello".  Got number by *69

Received calls from 1-253-248-6412. Would not respond when phone answered. Typed the number into Switchboard and somehow the searched number came up as 125-324-8641. Have no idea how that happened or why.

Received a call on 9/10/08. When I answered no one spoke, but it sounded as though the phone call was being recorded. There was a sound of a blank tape running in the background.

Rcvd call 4:31 pm.  Caller ID said YOUR CB.  Did not leave a message.

may 19 i received a call from VOLT.....didnt answer and no voicemail....

I received a call from the same number, no one answered so I hung up.  I was sure it was a call from a call center.  Calls are made by a "predictive dialer" and then routed to one of the employees/operators that are currently no on the phone.  The transfer takes a minute because it waits until you answer to transfer and then you have to wait for the operator to connect before you hear a voice.

I called the number and there was a voice recording that stated their Delivery Verification Team was currently on the phone making calls to verify the home delivery of your local telephone directory.  Being in the advertising business, I know that most, if not all yellow pages companies do a random sampling of the distribution area to ensure delivery company they've hired is actually delivering the phone books rather than taking them to the dump and saying they've been delivered.

It comes up on called ID as:  You CB.  You know if the government would act on our complaints they would soon have enough money collected from fines to pay off the national debt..........

Received call at approx 1:55 pm EST.  Answered, said hello 3x, never heard anything.  Call ended when I hung up.

Same thing here YOUR CB.  I really wish these weasles would simply leave a message on my answering machine.  Otherwise, don't waste your time.  There are new services on the horizon that will allow people to block specific phone numbers (already available on some cell services).  Of course, it won't help much for those "scramble" dialer systems.  This is where the government can easily help by banning phone number scrambler systems (random number shows for each dial out).

Got call from these sobs. They hung up when I answered. Probably Robo Call from Canada with fake Caller ID number. I called the number and they said something about Internet Information. I left them a message of what I thought about them.

3/15/10 first call from this number, i let the answering machine get it they didnt leave a message.
