CTEL came up on caller id, the lady was very nice and she was offering a business plan for AT&T.

Out of area and strange calls are diverted to our answer machine.  No message was left.

Call yesterday and today offering a business plan for AT&T

Called today at my workplace, asking to speak to "the person who handles the AT&T account." When I asked if she was calling from AT&T, she became extremely rude and avoided answering.

CTEL came up on caller id, the lady offering a business plan for AT&T.

After I made the mistake of answering the call (BS about correcting errors on my AT&T long dsitance bill), I called AT&T.  They said it was bogus and I was probably "slammed" to another phone service provider.  I agreed to nothing with the first caller but I was afraid that I was being slammed.  AT&T said that there was nothing that they could do about it - thanks for calling.  At least they didn't make me wait along time for the brush-off from someone who doesn't speak english.

They just keep calling and leaving messages...I hate this.  It I wanted to talk to them I would have returned the first call.

When I said that I don't have an AT&T account, she became extremely rude and hang up. I called them back (caller ID) and their answering machine said: "Thank you for calling. All our agents are busy. Please leave a message." No company name in that message. Very annoying.

They call asking for someone we never heard of. Then they want to speak the manager handling the AT&T account. They are not with AT&T.

Be smart. Don't agree to anything. Ask questions. That kinda stuff seems to cause these CTEL folks to hang up. Mr. "slammed" did you get slammed or not?

These people call us once a week we are on the Do Not Call List, they do not even Care.
They tell us we are calling you from At&t to offer you better service plan.
It's so annoying.

I get calls about 3X a week from this #, every time I answer the phone they hang up, I called the # back and left a very (detailed) angry message for them!
