    I received a call from this number.  At first, I received an automated computer message saying that either I or my lawyer needed to return the call.  If they did not hear from either myself or my lawyer "good luck."

    When I returned the call, the person that answered claimed to be Officer Rick Carter with the IRS.  He commented that my name was being used as part of an IRS investigation into fraud.  The background noise was anything but professional sounding.  Also, why would the IRS be using a number from the State of Washington to be calling someone in Texas?

    The IRS does not call first. You'd get a notice by mail first! This is a scam call, ignore it.
