This number called in with the latest IRS scam...and actually left a voicemail message. I was informed that "Jason O'Connor" with the IRS was calling to inform me that there was a "legal lawsuit which has been filed against your name with a legal arrest warrant." Then I was told to call back to this same number for more information and to resolve the situation. I also noted that, while "Jason O'Connor" did indeed have a heavy foreign accent, it was NOT an IRISH accent, as the name would suggest! He sounded like he came from somewhere in the India-to-Mideast arc. I have caller ID, but all that came up for this was the number. I never answer numbers that I don't recognize, but I saved the voicemail and reported it to the IRS.
