I got a couple calls from this number on my cell phone, the 2nd time they left a voice message that said they were Officer Terry Barkle ( sp)  from the dept of Law and Investigation ( yeah right) said they were calling to talk to me right away it was time sensitive that they speak with me right away and gave me another number to get back with him at ( 713)797-2047  The man had a very strong Indian accent.. and there was a lot of background noise.  It screams scam to me.  Or collections.. If it was collections then he just violated a few things.... Im reporting this one, because they actually left that on my Voicemail.  I am sick of these phone calls, and these people thinking that we can be scared into dealing with them on that level...

Report it immeadiatley to the FBI, your local police, call your state offices of Homeland Security and Secret Service. This attempted extortion, plain and simple. The FBI and FTC are cracking down on these idiots. SOON, they will get their due.

I'v just got a voicemail from this number telling me to call back or go to jail. This happens every few weeks with new phone numbers and its always the same format. I once anwer it and I told them if it is true that I own you money then sent me a letter with all the information and then if it is true and I'll match it to my credit report  and then they tell me they can't to that and hang up after I tell them I will report them to the FBI.

i also got a call from this number 254-415-4555 saying it was from law and investigation, saying i owed money from cash advance loan and if i didnt pay them they would take me to court. so i told them, why they havent sent me a letter saying this information. i told them that i knew this was a scam and that i would get my lawyer to put a lawsuit on them and that i would see them in court for fraud. then i hanged up.  This is the third time someone calls me but with different numbers and different accents, asians and indians.

I have a call from this number. Its a scam. I will be reporting this to the police.

Got this call 3x's in a row within minutes if each other.. same message.. hard to understand, lots of background noise, strong accent, something about law and investigation.. do not ignore or else... needless to say I deleted it.. now who is this idiot?  How can I stop these calls?

These guys are targeting people who have borrowed money on line. they tell you to give them 300.00 or you will be prosecuted. hoping that anyone would be stupid enough to fall for it. DONT!! If you owe any money to any online borrowing facility they will contact you directly. Somehow this group has figured out how to hack your info.. report numbers to police and next time answer the call and tell them you are talking on a recorded line for the FBI to follow up.

I got 2 voicemails and they both said to call back regarding time senstitive matter and that i have a a civil suit aginst me. he said if i don't that i will be arrested!!! SCAM SCAM I know not to give my info to anyone over the phone.

I BEEN GETTING THE SAMES CALLS  IN THE EVENING AND DURING WORK. CALLED BACK AND   QUESTION THEM AND THEY QUICKLY HUNG UP !!  LOTS OF NOSIE IN BACK GROUND
AND INDIA ACCENTS!!

wow! I been getting calls from these fools for a long time and even when I tell them they will not get one time from me they just keep calling me.  I report them to the FTC and they told me not to answer it  but they never stop . They also call my job and I finally had a enough so I started to call them back every every few hours and I wish them good luck and then blow a whisle into my phone and they are [***]. I feel better after that . These people are PIGS so don't be nice to them .

Some guy called me with a british but indian/middle eastern accent telling me to call them and wishing me good luck if I don't...lol these people are funny and I hope someone will hunt these suckers down and put them to justice!

This place called me, too - I told them I was reporting them to the FBI and they hung up.

I got a phone call from this #. They call me all the time and even late at night. I'm sick of these phones and they leave messages stating that I'm running away from the problem and that they need me to call him back right away. The gentlemen did have a strong indian accent and also a lot of background noise. I am reporting them to the fbi because they are harrassing me

File a complaint with the FTC. Maybe if enough people report them the feds will crack down on this scam. I get calls every day from New York, California, and Washington state, Always the same story. Today I answered the call and got the same threats, and when I told the idiot I was reporting him to the Federal Trade Commission he hung up really fast.

I rec'd a phone call from 254-415-4555 (Killeen Texas) the person identify himself as Officer Jack from Investigation Department; he had a very strong indian accent and a lot noise in the background.  He called twice left a voice mail message on the second call, it stated " That I must return the phone call or have my lawyer call.  What's more dangerous about this call to me is he recited that last four digits of my soical security number. I will however report this to the FTC here in Maryland and in Texas.  I will also contact any other government official (Homeland Security-Internet Fraud; etc)

I rec'd a call today and there famous statement is "I wish you good luck", I have rec'd calles before last year.  I call the Attorney General Office in the state they are calling from, FTC, and Homeland Security-Internet Fraud, any governement official that can help,  Keep in mind you must also this in the state that they calling from, keep records of everything you do and what is siad to you, and yes do not answer the phone anymore.

they call me once a week saying they are the law and investigating firm and its time sensitive if i dont call back they are gona put my ss card on hold

these guys are from south africa, and the only way to deal with them is to play games, they call with name like George Washington, Austin, Jack, Billy,  I play games and call them back over and over and tell them that I am a made Girl Friend and want to take to my cheating Boyfriend.... I waste a bunch of their time and the tell me they are going to call the police on me, I tell them to go ahead and they even beg me not to call back, then in a couple of days another voice and the same message,,, this is my new hobby

These people call from a different number everyday.  I'm sick of it.  After talking to them for awhile, and letting them tell me everything they have against me, I finally asked them if people really fall for this.  I then told the man that I had already called the FBI, and they have been located.  He then hung up

this is a big time scam DO NOT pay them anything...talked to my local police department, they advised to contact your local phone provider and have the number blocked and report the number to them as a scam number.  If you can't have the number blocked, then when they call asked them for their badge number and what department they are with and supvr name and that should make them hang up.  If they don't then tell them to go ahead and sue you..cause they can't.  BUT please do not send them money
