SCAM.

Scam! left message with call back number, googled the number and it is for workout club?!!

scam. They use different numbers from different states. they start with the state you live in. I block each number. Wehn a new number appears, the same threat message is stated. Robo call.

This call is telling me this is the "second" time they've attempted to contact me about a "complaint" about me. LIES!!! SCAM!!!

Anonymous scam from 256-346-0785. Caller ID did not display the name of an individual or a company. Why do these scammers hide their identity?

Called. I missed the call. So, I called back. Woman said they had a complaint for debt collection $1200.00 from HSBC and if I wanted to settle it. I never had an accout with HSBC. Here's the kicker. I have a law degree and work as a constable. I am very familiar with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (Federal Law) because  of my job. They did not follow any of the FDCPA protocols required. This is a scammer. Be careful!

I received a call from 256-346-0785 asking me to call this number and that it was their 3rd attempt, blah, blah.  I blocked my number and called the number (360-208-1034) I was supposed to call and received no answer.  I blocked my number again and called the originating number and spoke with a gentleman who asked if I was so and so and if last 4 digits of my ss# was such and such and it was the correct numbers.  Said it was in reference to an account that I had in 2002 (this was beginning of debt but not when I last had charged on account) and I informed them that they needed to refer to my bankruptcy records on this.  I am writing this to say that perhaps not everyone calling is a scammer however I do find it odd that the number I was supposed to call back didn’t answer when I blocked my number and that perhaps it is a cell phone like others have stated under the notes for that number. The person I spoke with was not rude to me, not even when I wouldn’t give confirmation of anything but my name.
