Received a voice mail on my cell phone from a lady named Meredith Williams from Rapid Tax Filing LLC saying I owed backed taxes. I need to call her back to settle taxes by the end of the month. It's tax season. This is definitely a scam. Don't fall for it.

785-400-4617 called me and left this number as a call back, 260-529-3341. Claiming I owed backed taxes. Obviously if I owed backed taxes this number wouldn't call me but instead the IRS would.

These people are a joke. Do not answer them. If you owed money to the IRS, the IRS would contact you via mail. These are scum of the earth people who have nothing else better to do with their time than scam people.

Received call from 840-200-2680 with voicemail from Meredith Williams Rapidtax Filings LLC stating I needed to settle my back tax debt and to call her back at 260-529-3341, also states that if you want to be taken off the call list, to call the number that called you. Obviously I will not be calling her, as I know I would have received a legit call from the IRS if I owed money. Block the number.

I got the same message, she repeated her name and number three or four times and was overly dramatic

I got the same call from Meredith as well.  I called back and told them that I had no back taxes due nor have I ever and that this was just a scam and to leave innocent people alone.  He said that he sleeps like a baby every night with no worries when I told him I reported it to my county fraud division.

I received a voicemail from Meredith Williams from Rapid Tax Filings LLC regarding overdue backtaxes. She called from this number 785 400 4590 and said this was her number 260 529 3340. SCAM.
