- Lois replies to mile2smileI have been getting these calls for weeks...no overdue payment due to Kohls. No one ever on the other end. I have blocked them on my phone.
- Be Smart From The StartI have been receiving a ton of scam calls on my cell phone recently. Most likely from the online ordering I did for this past Christmas. This number is the latest to call me and did not leave a message. Just thought I would google the number and found this site. I do have a Kohl's charge card, but haven't used if for quite some time. All of my bills are paid in full. I only spend on credit cards if I can afford to pay the balance off at the end of the month....just to play the credit game. When I called the number back, I got an error message. Reading through these posts...I don't know why anyone would give out their personal information over a phone call. If you truly have an account with them, believe me...they already have your social security # and more. They should be able to verify who you are easy enough....they called you!
- Caller: Unknown - Did not say
- Paul DuffeyRepeated calls claiming to be from Kohl's department store, asking for social security number. Original number was 888-814-3555. I blocked that one through the phone company and next day got the same call from this number.
- Caller: Spoofed as Kohl's
- Sharon replies to JimThanks Jim for your information. I too received two missed calls two days in a row from this phone number. Upon Googling the number, I ended up here. That made me realize that Kohl's may be trying to reach me not because I'm past due with my payment but because their emails to me are being returned. I've come to realize that with my two email addresses, one (for some reason) is now kicking back the emails. So I went on-line and changed my email to one I know I'm receiving, made my payment which was not past due and hopefully that stops the phone calls from the all dreaded phone number. Glad I checked out the number or I would not have realized my situation (I don't answer or return calls to unknown numbers). So... thanks Jim!
- Diane replies to RosemaryIf you have a smart phone put them on auto rejected list
- T Fast| 1 replyI do not wish to have further contact from this number
- Tamianth replies to T Fast800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. We can't stop anyone from calling you either or remove from a list.
Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier. - chris ja scam. I don't even have a kohl's card and have had this number for 15 years
- RobDon't call me!
- MarilynThis number IS Kohls and it is related to non-payment. However, do NOT call the number back, simply go into your online account and have a look, you may think that you paid when you did not. When you make a payment online you get a page that says "Payment Confirmation", which on all other websites means you've made a payment, but on the Kohls site it does NOT. You have to go to the bottom of the "Payment Confirmation" page and hit "approve", which then takes you to a page that thanks you for your payment. At first I thought how stupid of them to word it that way but then I realized if a million people mistakenly think they've paid when they did not, at $25 per late fee, that is $25 million dollars! Good for them to get free money but bad for us when it can affect our credit. Bottom line, no matter how busy and rushed you are, ALWAYS double check the payment is complete and be sure to save your payment information.

- Natalie Whitnack| 1 replyI am 80 and suffering from a worn-out hip socket. They call me everyday, sometimes multiple calls. Because of my hurting hip L am slow to reach phone. They always hang up before I get to phone. I am calling AT@T to see if I can block call.
- Caller: 262-703-1977
- WolfmanJack replies to Natalie WhitnackI know exactly how you feel. But here is a bit of a hint. Get yourself a cordless phone. The new one's block numbers and they are really cheap. You can carry one with you or buy a set up with multiple phones for each room, your choice. Each satellite phone has caller id as well.
Oh and always remember there is no reason to rush to the phone. If it is important or a friend they will leave a message. - YesBeen getting calls from 262-703-1977 and they do not leave a message. Glad to see people aren't foolish enough to give out their SSNs.
- Caller: SCAMMER
- Jen replies to Lynn in OHGood, never give anyone your social security number. Sounds like a identity theft scam to get your personal information. You know you are not legally required to give your social security number to your doctors but they will ask for it and you are not legally required to give it to automobile/homeowners' insurance for a policy either. The social security number you give directly to your employer or for your tax returns.
- LindaNumber keeps calling no message left
- Caller: Kohls
- BrianaI don't know this number and want nothing to do with it.
