Yep,  called them back and tried to reason with them to remove me from their call list.    No avail.   They keep calling, sometimes five or six times per day.   Call back again and read them the riot act demanding to not call or I will report the number.  They just hung up on me.   Does no good, not more than an hour after that I got another call from them.   This is really frustrating.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.

Put the blame where it really lay's, with the criminals and illegal telemarketers.
The DNC works just fine. It is for telemarketers only and honest business does indeed abide by it. It is the criminals (which includes illegal telemarketers), frauds and scammers that do not. However, the Fed. DNC does not cover some survey's, Political or Charities.  You would need to check your states DNC laws to see if these are under your states DNC laws.  The fact remains that they are not automatic call blockers though and can not protect you from the calls that are criminal, illegal or fraudulent.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone..  You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

they just called me said they were from sperion electric co.  get my bill  they'll lower price, blah, blah.  i said no, hung up and she called me RIGHT back from another number 206-708-2849 on caller id as spokane,  i laughed and said you just called me bk from a different state huh?  got real defensive, she did, and told me off or at least tried to.  this happens everday all day if your home, irs, warrants out for you, blah blah blah.

Got this call from a lady named Heidi. When i asked the company name she said SPERION. She told me to go get my electric bill. When I asked for the company address she hung up. Must be a new business practice to get more customers.

Caller ID says Line Lexington PA... I never answer unknown callers.. annoying but that's what caller ID is for..  I just ignore the call only get a few rings; not enough to go to voice mail..

I've never had a problem with Burpee & have been a decades long customer.  I've only gotten calls from them concerning my orders (such as later shipping date) & they list themselves on caller ID devices as Burpee.  As others had pointed out, the call I'd gotten from this number was from Experion Energy & they keep calling like crackheads & leave no messages.

The caller said her name was Dominique and said the company was "Sperian".   Her English was not too good.  She said she was in Chicago and was calling to sell alternative electricity supply to PECO customers.   Have been getting at least one call a day from this source, different girl's voice each time, however, altho I asked that my inf. be deleted.

Very pleasant young man, Devon, tried to sell me energy switch.  Would not give him any info, and he said info is on my utility company bill (OTHER energy companies....ALL with bad reviews also say the same thing that info is on my bill. ) Yeah, but NOT all the companies call only that you can switch).  Did some research and they have three bad reviews, none good that I could find.  Normally would spend more time checking it out.  He was prepared for EVERY question I threw at him, so they are sounding more legit.  Also the name he gave was Sperian, although the call came from PA (he said I could call back for legitimacy),   It is tough NOT to answer when you know the call is within short traveling distance from your home and could be a family member.  If it had shown it was from out of state, I would not have answered.  In the background, there were lots of voices speaking, so I am listing it as telemarket.

So frustrating.  They have an endless number of numbers they call from. So far have blocked about 20 different ones. Before Jan 1 they kept calling about health insurance.  Now that it’s after the time limit for insurance they just started calling me about “pre-qualifying” for social security disability.  I’ve tried screaming Shut up like a maniac, asking for a manager, using fowl language, nothing works.  I keep blocking and they keep coming up with new numbers to call from.
