i  would like to no the status on my loan please

I have a cell phone provided to me because I am disabled and on extraordinarily limited income. It is a very limited service, but allows me a phone. The provider is Assurance Wireless, a division of Virgin Mobile. I use it for only a couple of local calls each week.

Today, 6/24/11, I was called many times by numbers with long distance area codes. Only one left a voicemail message, all the rest just disconnected. I answered the last call, and after they answered my "hello" with one of their own, they just hung up. The message left from the call before was a recording saying I had been pre-approved for an $800 loan, and to go to some website of a payday loan business. Sorry, but I was angry and deleted the voicemail and I didn't memorize the URL.

It seems to me that these sharks have gained access to the cell phone numbers of vulnerable people on limited income and they know dang well we are likely to jump at an offer like this. The low amount of $800 seems just as targeted and almost believable. I think either Assurance or Virgin has been hacked or they have sold these numbers to payday loan creeps.

I WAS TOLD BY THIS COMPANY TO GO TO LIBERTY CASH LOANS.COM TO FIND OUT MY LOAN AMOUNT AND HIT A BRICK WALL. THE WEB SITE IS GETTING ME KNOW WHERE. THEY HAVE ALL MY BANKING AND PERSONAL IMFORMATION. I NEED ANSWERS NOW.

These people are scammers and the website is a scam website to phish personal info. Every piece of personal info you've given them is compromised and you have to start damage control immediately. Replace accounts, driver's licenses, etc.

I received a message that i was approved for $700.00 and i called 267-350-9254 and i got was a recording. Is this ligit? I will call my bank to make sure.  Scam i say!! :*(
