They left a recorded message on our answering machine saying they had been "monitoring my account" (I don't have ANY accounts for them to monitor), and that I should press "1" to speak to a representative who will lower my interest rate to Zero!!  Yeah, right.
This is just another scam to get your information so don't even bother picking up the phone. Just ignore it.
If you don't have an answering machine yet you need to get 1. Use it to screen your calls. Friends will leave a message you can hear and you can pick up for them but let these useless idiots go off to oblivion.
