Hang up call. I called the number back and received recorded message:United States Prescription Card,
Asked me to spell my name  and  address after the beep.  Telemarketer

I got a call from this number today, when I answered they didn't

Rec'd a call from this number on my cell phone, but before I could answer, they hung up.  Got a recording about how I could get a free "prescription card" if my income was less than $65,000 a year.  Obviously, a telemarketer.  What I want to know is how did they get my cell phone number when I am on the "no call" list under my cell phone number..

The government's "DO NOT CALL"list does not work.
They have never helped with anything to eliminate calls and they will not return calls.  It is a typical government rip off --- The PITS !

Getting hang up calls..

Cell phone call, no message. AT 8:00 IN THE MORNING!! On a Saturday!!

There are now computers that call telephone numbers in sequence, so you don't have to be on a list at random.

If they called their own phone number 270-331-6285, which means the next call would be 270-331-6286.

They don't answer because they are computerized to respond to someone answer within so many seconds.  If you didn't answer quickly  the computer is already trying to call someone else, even though the telephone system (another computer system) still has your line open.

Just got a call from 270-331-6285...rang 3 times then "they" hung up...whoever the creeps are!  I am so fed up with this BS!  It's unreal how they can get away doing this to people, especially senior citizens!  They are all a bunch of heartless creeps!  I have stopped answering my phone to unknown callers...did answer a couple of times, since I have a neice that
lives out of state.  I've asked her to "talk" to my answering machine then I'll pick up...and to leave a message on my cell phone and I call her back...such a hassle, all because of these creeps that have nothing better to do!
