That's just college advisors, no biggie! lol They are advisors with Collegebound Network (http://www.collegebound.net) - they help people connect with the colleges that they are interested in. You probably requested information online, or maybe someone else in your family did and used your #, or a friend/relative could have requested info for you? They are friendly and helpful people, they try hard to connect people with the right college! If you already found a college or are no longer interested, just let them know so they don't call ya. =)

Melissa's assurance that this number is harmless & that "they're (just) advisors with Collegebound Network" is disingenuous at best, and deceptive at worst. Any legitimate company would not have an unlisted number, which this is (per Superpages, AnyWho, and Dex White Pages). I continue to receive phone calls (without messages) from both 276-345-4189 an 276-345-4314. No listing & refusal to leave messages? Not to be trusted.

This number called my cellphone and hung up when I answered....unable to figure out who it is as well

Yea I got a new phone # a few months ago and keep getting "college advisers" calling for someone named Jesse. I missed this #'s call and called it back, and sure enough they asked for jesse and said they were from the college bound help center. I said I wasnt Jesse and to not call back. I then googled college bound help center and called their 888 number and asked if they new this number (which is a Virginia number), and they said they only have call centers in Staten Island and I think PA. Very strange..
