Have called numerous time but won't leave message.  Caller ID shows J Adams.

This guy is a real piece of work.
He calls using the Highway patrol as his caller ID at first.
Then changes the ID to get you to answer.
Do not donate money to phone solicitors.
Only a very small amount of money you donate goes to the charity.

received a call with this #, said they were trying to rebuild emergency fund for fallen trooper's families, mentioned the name of a trooper who died in linden a couple of weeks ago, if he's scamming he's sank too low!

This guy pretends to be an officer and leaves out details...but also knows details that he shouldn't...HE's VERY creepy!!!! It seems he has access to police records.

You people need to learn how to do your own investigation. The Texas HWY Patrol Assn/Mus. IS A NON PROFIT - TAX DEDUCTABLE (501-c-3) ORG. Check it out for yourself instead of making all the accusations just 'cause you're too lazy to figure it out on your own. You can ask the families that they help - how much they actually help... IDIOTS!!

They're real, they're legit, but man are they persistent.  My wife bit for the dead-trooper story thinking the widow would get the donation, only to find out that the money is also going to build a museum.  Give once and they will never take you off their list even after many requests to do so.
