6/27 CID 'Nanjemoy MD' - several rings, disconnect, no msg - typical scam/robo call pattern - have received many calls from nanjemoy using numbers 301-246-0970/2804/2731/2848/3474/2748/8589 - consider this a scam call

Robocall. Jolly Roger intercepted it.

After being out in my community for National Night Out, I come home to find the following on my Caller ID:  "7:51 PM 301-246-8589 NANJEMOY MD".  I have NO idea WHO lives in NANJEMOY MD!

No message.  Know no one in Nanjemoy, MD and don't even know where it is. No message left. BLOCKED.

called me @8:58 P.M.  Said something like "...I'm collecting for 'veterans'".  Another "hot button" issue - like the phony/baloney "breast cancer charity".  He would have me believe they provide "job opportunities for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan".  (I thought the VA did that - they did for me).  When I asked how many "veterans" they have ACTUALLY found jobs for, I was met with what I call "stunned silence" !!  That was enough for me - I said "go away", and hung up, which I advise everyone to do. Plain and simple - this is a SCAM, invoking yet another "hot button" issue - don't fall for it.
