301-882-9939 called @ 2:47 pm . I did not answer and they left no message .

Robocaller presents itself as an offer to participate in a "survey" on diabetes and to "upgrade" your current treatment products. This is either a solicitation disguised as a survey to justify ignoring the do not call registry or an outright scam. When pressed for information about the callers company the operator hung up.

I recieved a phone call today from an automatic voice message stating they wanted to upgrade my current diabetes products which can delivered to my door to press 1 to upgrade press 2 if not interested they gave no other choices I pressed 0 in hopes of getting a live person to go off on by calling my home with this mess I dont have diabetes neither have I or any other family member have it or registered with any company for diabetes products or care no live person came on the phone.
I believe it is just another scam for sure because when I typed in this number for diabetes there is no such number listed. I hope they find out who these rotten lying scammers are and hope they get BUSTED!

Got the diabetes survey question as well.  I am not diabetic.  When I called the number back, you get a strange message that says "If you'd like to move your number, press 1"  I had to listen to it twice because I couldn't tell if she said remove my number or move my number.  Very odd.

i noticed this number on my caller id and i called it back (they left no message) and it answered stating my telephone # and said press 1 if this is the # you want removed press 2 to remove another number.  i dont know what it was about but probably somehow connected with what has been stated by others.

the number 302-882-9939 has called my number 5 times in about 4 hours. When I answered, a woman's voice came on. She asked for my address and I told her that her outfit was a SCAM and I hung up. They called again but no one answered but I could hear background noise.

Typical annoying, random call. No answer.

every time they call, i get dead air!! no talking at all, i hate those the most.

We keep getting calls from this number numerous times a day. And noone leaves a msg. And, on the caller ID it says number removal one day. And the next day it will say calling center Maryland.

About 200 of the last 750 calls I have received have are these scam calls. Now that might not sound too bad till you consider I have been looking for work and have been talking to 5-10 recruiters every day so about 400 the calls where job related. So if I was not dealing with recruiters well over half my calls would be these scam calls. Time and time again I look the number up on these boards and find the number has been used by multiple scams so you can only assume it is spoofed.

You cannot permanently block these kind of callers because they just keep changing the number they claim to be calling from. It is time to stop complaining on these boards and start screaming at your representatives to shut down companies offering spoofing services and make the phone companies block the signal that overrides the true caller ID. Those that want to block their ID fine (though currently that is illegal for solicitors to do), those calls go directly to my voice mail but this spoofing has to stop NOW or your phone will be as bad as your email WITHOUT spam filters. From what I can see most of the other phone providers do not even offer blocking. Can you imagine if your email provider did not have spam filters? If you do not have call blocking about all I can suggest is not answering any of the following caller IDs:
TOLL FREE CALL
SALES DEPT
PRIVATE SUITE
Unavailable/Anonymous/ blank
and any number from the 954 area code ( not sure why but seems to be a fav for scammers)

That will filter at least 50% of these calls. Personally I only answer calls now from my area code or numbers I recognize. I am sure it is only a matter of time though till they start spoofing numbers local to where they are calling.

Any legit company is NOT going to hide behind another number so you SHOULD assume they are a scam if they are doing so. From what I have been reading many of them are ID theft scams. Before calling anyone back, you do not know, Google the number. Odds are you will many complains about that number. If not then and ONLY then call them back. If we have learned anything from spam you NEVER contact them to ask them to not do it again. That just confirms you got the message they sent and increases the value of your info to them and who they will sell it to next. Again personally I have a rule that I will not buy anything from a company that cold calls me. Especially since I am on the do-not-call list. Also any legit company will leave a message not call back continuously. Especially after you tell them you are not interested. That kind of hard sell is a BIG red flag.

Now go look up your congressmen and senators and start screaming about how the do-not-call list has been made useless by spoofing!

This number 301-882-9939 calls and hangs-up.... I returned their hang-up call and they wanted my phone number so i entered my # and the recorded message said my number had been removed from their calling list...I sure hope so, because I'm tired of all the hANG-UP CALLS, 100'S OF THEM ON 8/19/09 IT' RUDE ! SCAMERS !!!

Maryland shows up on my CID.  No message ever left.  Frequent calls.
