Scam call with computer voice telling me using ESL grammar they were investigating "under your name and your tax ID for the tax fraud and the investigating team of our department is investigating you and your family. We had tried to notify you regarding these issue in previous 6 months but we have never got response from you." Then it goes on to say that "it has been considered as an intentional fraud and lawsuit has been filed under your name by the United States government" — and then it gives this number 302-202-0747 to call. Sadly, people still fall for such blatantly fraudulent scam calls.

That same number called me 2x after I posted that. At last I blocked the number.

Call came in, Google searched the caller ID, saw DML's posting here, sent the call to voice mail.  Caller left the exact same message as DML transcribed above.

Same thing happened to me today, same phone number, same message but they did not identify themselves at all on the message.

Received a phone call from this number - did not answer.  Caller now blocked.  Supposedly Social Security - THEY DO NOT CALL PEOPLE.
