Caller said I had a charged of checking account from 2011 and they were ready to file a lawsuit if I did't pay the balance

Very annoying phone calls asking me to call back regarding a federal charge. They must be a way to stop these scams.

Letting unknown numbers ring with NO kind of answer is a way to get pests uninterested in your phone number. If they're always getting one, the calls are more likely to continue. You can stop them by not participating, i.e.,. being somebody they can't count on as a potential hit. Phone numbers that have no kind of answer become worthless to them eventually, but it takes time to cut down on junk calls.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase
