When I answered, there was an automated message stating that I was being sued. When I called back they identified themselves as Hamilton, Jacobs, & Associates. Then said that my # was listed as a number to contact myself (since the # is mine, it should show up as me). When I identified myself they said that I was being sued, but didn’t say by whom. When I pressed for information they hung up on me.

Got a call that said I needed to hit redial on the number and saying in a threatening manner that "it would be in my best interest to take care of this matter." The call quality was spotty and the voicemail came and went so I could not hear the whole message.

Automatic recording giving no business name, using very threatening words and demanding an immediate callback. It has all of the signs of a scam call. No information about business name. Just a halfhearted attempt at sounding official.

Same as above, stating I was being sued as if this is the way that someone would be informed of this. Really outrageous that companies are allowed to do this.

Got a call saying a case has been filed in my name.  When I called them back, I told the lady, "You know this number is coming up in Google as a scam, right?" Long pause, and she responds, "Yes, sir." I then said, "You should also know I'm reporting this information to the FBI." She responds, "That's fine, sir." I hung up, and that was the end of it. This fake lawsuit scam has been around for years.

Didnt get to phone checked messages and was a recording about a civil  complaint against me and me and my attorney had 72 hours to contact them prior to petioning them for an injuction and we need to provide a final statement and it would be in our best interest to call them back ! SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!

Same as above. Threatening voicemail saying there is a civil case against me and to call back immediately. Legal notices do not come via phone, it blows my mind that these scams are so prevalent.

You block a number they call from another number this is very aggravating

Just got off the phone with them. I blanked on them!  They called my 80 year old mother at a home i haven't lived in in 30 years😡
