Have received multiple calls from this number... I always let them go to voicemail. The beginning of the voice message is cut off so I never hear who is calling but it does mention civil litigation, blah blah... I finally decided to call them back.  Found they were looking for my daughter and her former husband (divorced over 12 years now).  I just told them they had the wrong number so did not get into what they wanted from my daughter.

I will assume they are acting as a debt collector (did not get the standard "we are a debt collector attempting to collect a debt" spiel though). Strange also that they called my number looking for her.  She's remarried, has never had this number and I've only had it since 2016...  She and I haven't even had the same last name since 1989!

I've seen alot of comments from others that Hamilton & Jacobs is a collector for Wachovia/Wells Fargo.  I know my daughter and former son-in-law had accounts with them at one time but looong before I had my current phone number.
