Telemarketer
Artificial computer generated female voice stated my personal and financial information may have been compromised and said to Press 1 to connect to a ”Security Team.”
Did not answer the call, the Telemarketer left a Voicemessage.

Claimed to Microsoft with an grammatically incorrect automated voice saying my computer was being "hack" and that all my data would become "obsolete." I'm getting calls from these jokers once a day now.

Could be because the caller's confident they can always get an answer from your number. Try blocking the number, or making sure the caller doesn't even get an answering device. Enough times of calling and getting nothing at all, that can change. Letting the phone ring can work.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Same as the folks above.  Robot called twice in two days.  Entertaining grammar and sentence structure gaffes.  Heh: I don't even use Windows...Chrome is just swell!

The new scam is "Your computer has been hack(sic)."

It's funny because I just got this call and it says "Illegal Scam" on my ID. At least it identified itself for what it is.

Same message about my computer becoming obsolete and blah blah blah...I hate to be defensive of them, but at least at the end of the message they said to ignore it if they reached me by mistake...

Finally, they’re telling it like it is!  Caller id:  “Illegal Scam.”

Same as above, two to three times a day.

Scam, do not even answer...its bots and nothing to worry about, I get amused :)

I just received a call from 302-202-6767 at 3:35 MST, May 16. The caller ID actually displayed, "ILLEGAL SCAM."

Got (2)calls from 845-478-9802 and just got another from 302-202-6767 And it was the same recorded message about Microsoft being hacked and call them back so they could get you in contact with their Computer Techs to resolve the problem!,What a Total Scam Job,,DO NOT ANSWER THESE DIRT BAGS CALLS,,

It called me and said that my information got taken

They claimed they were from the department of crimes investigations with the IRS. I keep blocking them, but they still manage to leave a voice mail message claiming they have 4 matters against me and the local cops are coming to get me if I don't call them.

I love that it says "scam Likely " on my caller ID.. picked up, hung up, and then blocked. Thanks to everyone who has posted before as this is annoying
