Just got this voicemail today.  The grammar is atrocious.  Evidently they have me down as male and having a wife.  No mention as to who they are as well as who their clients are.  They did threaten to apprehend me at my place of employment as well as calling HR on me which I know they can't.

I had gotten a call and said they want my address for home and work.  They would call human resources if I don't contact them never mentioned who they are.  or what the matter is. As to my understanding they are against the law with the threats.

Sounds like the fake process server scam. Real process servers don't call in advance.

This same number with the same message called my work yesterday, and my cell phone just now.  Same recording each time, and they leave the callback number and reference number.  The number they call from is from a small area about and hour and a half drive from here...

Is this something to take serious or just ignore?  I havent called them back to check the reference number out.... I dont want to admit to something that isnt mine or get caught in a scam

They refuse clearly identify themselves. They say it once quickly. Sounds like Vel or Bell or Bill and Associates. They are VERY rude. I told them to F**K OFF and that the person they are looking for does not live here. Where can we post their number as a sex line to get them lots of calls? 😎😇 The telephone number is from Bridgeville Delaware so the number of sex worker lines is probably pretty skimpy!

Well, let's see here. You're Gullible, Naive, Stupid or a Shill. Ah, who cares?
They ARE SCAMMERS! Process Servers do NOT call ahead of time. You are NOT called ahead of time if you are to be served. That's the fact. That's how it works.

Why would you bother to report them to the BBB? The BBB is NOT a non-profit. They can be "bought" & are no longer considered to be a reliable source of a business's credibility. Many cities & towns no longer even have a BBB affiliation. Fraudulent/Bogus debt collection outfits absolutely love the BBB. They "donate" a few bucks to the BBB &, Voila, they have an A+ rating! Critical comments about a business on a BBB website are easily removed & bogus favorable comments are even easier to "plant". As long a "business" continues to pay its "dues" to the BBB they will be sure to receive high ratings & praise.
I could go on & further explain. There's no point. Do your own research. The facts & the truth are as close as your keyboard.

I’ve received several calls all with the same threatening voicemails everyone else is saying. I’ve been served court papers before and they DO NOT call. They just come to your residence and wait for you. Plus my address (unfortunately) can be easily found in a Google search if they wanted to find me. I own a business so again, public records. If it was court ordered they would have my address. ITS A SCAM.
It’s tax season, give em till May, then you won’t hear from them again till October (tax extensions due). It’s like clockwork every year.

These people have been harassing me for a couple of months now calling my phone leaving messages for a Christopher Muse or Hughes. They are asking his place of work and residence. I have called them several time to let them know I do not know this person and I have had this phone number over 6 years and to please take me off their list. I have been hung up on, rudely talked to stating they can not do anything about this. I will be reporting this number with my personal connections with the police for all parities who are involved.

They have called me three or four times each time asking for my daughter.  It's the same story as above they have papers they are going to serve, they will contact HR, etc. etc.  I called after the first time to tell them that she is not at my number but obviously they haven't gotten the point.  I just try to ignore them. The number that came up on my caller ID was a local number for me, but they gave me the 302 number to call back.
