called home phone -- rang 4 times, so it was not from robot caller -- (they're stopped after 1 ring) ..... called back and a polite young man answered... I said I was returning his call, and asked what company he was with -- he said "Orin (i think, couldnt understand name) Capital Advisors. I asked him what they did, and he kind of fumbled around, and then said they were 'looking to buy several houses in your area over the next few weeks, and was I interested in selling any properties".  I asked him what area ? (His phone number is 8 states away from my location).... and he fumbled around and said, where are you calling from and what is your phone number (I called from an unlisted number).... and I said - what areas are you buying houses, and where are you located?  He wouldn't tell me, and kept asking for my name and number.  HINT:  They are most likely bottom feeder house buyers who call people all over the country (thus 'your area' vs a specific city or location) adn try to get you to sell their houses at low rates and take advantage of people.  Any LEGITIMATE company would be very open, transparent, honest and upfront about what they're doing, nad not misleading people and being dishonest.... They would also have their phone number listed (you can google this number and it does not show up under any "capital advisors" search.... So.... 302-309-9803 is blocked.... Hope others who get calls from these companies will also post on here to warn others.....
