This person texted me about some website and I want to know who it is

It's a scam. Do not go to that link, delete the message and block the number if possible

My names Nicole and not really sure how they got it but the message they sent was, "(1/2) Yo Nicole a girl was talking about you on ". No website or anything and they haven't replied back so

your good friends downloaded a malicious app that stole all their contact into and is now texting everyone. This app costs money so they are in effect stealing.

I received the same message "Yo [my name spelled incorrectly] some guy was talking about you on", but it was message 1/2 and 2/2 never came through.

Confused?  Did you read the other posts?  This is a scam, at trick to sucker kids into thinking someone is talking about you behind you back, and since you can't stand to be left out, you shell out money for some app that steals your info.  Saturday night is BIG business for these crooks.  Sadly, you have no idea you are being played.

Someone just texted me to

That happened to my sister. They texted her saying "A Haliah girl was talking about you behind your back the other day" Then it showed a link to the website (I didn't tap it) and it also showed an emoji like this:😂
Sorry but I have no idea who this is, I'm doing some research on it too so I'll get back to you if I find out.

Got text msg asking me to tap onto the link it sent.  It claims that it connects to the PayPal.   Hi Scamster then I put a block on 302-329-9777.
