    Got many texts from this number claiming to be Kate Putney, who is supposedly deaf impaired. Wanted to schedule makeup by my step mom who lives 5+ hours away. She named the venue & date so I called the venue & they had no wedding for that day. She wanted to pay upfront so I'm assuming that once you ran her card # it might do something to your acct.

    This scammer claims to be hearing impaired so you won't call and hear their real voice.  Chances are the credit card number is stolen.

    The same thing just happened to me yesterday as well. Asked if I did credit card payment and who my merchant was.

    "Hello this is ms kate putney,i'm hearing impaired and i will like you to work on my 5 bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding and do you accept credit card for upfront payment?Thank you."

    I asked her to send me an email with more info, which she never did. Then she texted me back again today...

    "How much did you charge per person and the total cost for 6 people including me for the trial and the bigday and the type of credit card and merchant you use  to run credit card? "

    She s an impaired hearing for real, she came over to my studio last Friday i think she s genuine ,she was just left all alone because she was diagnosed with lung cancer ,reason she was desperate to find someone to help her for her wedding.
