I got a response from this number to a Craigslist ad I posted. Don't recognize the area code so I wonder if it's from a scammer? I already got other scam responses wanting me to ship a motorcycle and accept payment by PayPal. It ain't happen, btw. Please let me know if you have reason to believe this is a scammer. Thanks.

I also got text messages asking to buy a trike scooter on Craig's list from this dude with payment by paypal....  got a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach.  guess this isn't going to happen...  I also have an email address for him. terrycole085@gmail.com

I just received a text from the same spammer. wanting to send me a check for my craigslist item and have his moving company pick the item up a few days later.

This person just text me about an ad I posted on Craigslist. He was going to put the money in my account of the item plus the money to pay the person who was going to pick up the item..... I stopped for a min and thought that didn't sound good at all..... We have to be very careful cuz now is the season of the SCAMMERS

I posted an add on Craigslist as well. I also got text messages (lots of them...long messages with lost of fake info)asking to buy it with payment by paypal quickly..email address for terrycole085@gmail.com. Sorry buddy .I'm not falling for it!!!

I posted an AD on  Craiglist as well. This number claimed they (Terrycole085@gmail.com) wanted to pay by Paypal in advance, than also wanted to include very high pickup fee for its pickup agent.  Wanting me to pay the agent who comes to pickup the item.  Too fishy!

I received a text from this number in response to a Craigslist posting saying their aunt wanted to buy something I posted.  I posted 2 items and so asked which one they wanted and did not hear back

I received a response too...same scam, responding to Craigs list...no payment; frequent texts tipped me off.

This is definitely a scammer. We unfortunately fell victim to it. It's a text only phone number. You can't even call the person back. Never ever send money to someone you don't know.

i got a text from the same number, contacted paypal and they confirmed this is a scam.
