said they were Amazon. I listened to the message but did not say anything. just hung up.

Same - got a robo-style female voice that said my Amazon had been charged $XXX.XX amount of money and that the goods would be delivered to my house - and told me press a number to discuss with their agent.  Hung up.  Scam?

call today didn't pick up - with message saying "you have been charged $###.## on your visa card.... if you have made this purchase on amazon and recognize it - then simply hang up... and your order will be delivered to you.... - however if you have not made any such transaction please press 1 "AND TALK OUR AGENT"..... or your can call us immediately at 302-400-7196....." if not please call us at this number...... bogus. scammers........ to land line........ caller had apparent overseas slightly broken accent and dialect...... seems LIKE FRAUD / FRAUDSTER

Definitely a scam. I know PRECISELY what I order online.

got this same msg.  also noticed the weird language.

Also received a phone call saying there was an unauthorized purchase from amazon.
