same name same line its a scam

Left message. Identified himself as David Greg (Grey?). Asserted that a failure to respond would be a federal offence.

Blah blah blah magistrate grand jury blah blah blah b.s.

Caller named Andy Gibson said my name on list for tax evasion. Indian accent. Said he was calling from US government, and proceedings against me had begun. I laughed. He hung up.

Said he was IRS and if I didnt pay i would be arrested.

David grey from the treasury department. If we didn't respond it would be a federal offense.

Received several calls from this number over the past 2 weeks. Never left a message until yesterday. Call is a scam from David Grey who says he is from the treasury dept. and if I didn't respond there would be legal action as this is a federal offense. (I did not respond)

Received multiple calls from this number today. It's a scam. They tell you someone is coming to your house to arrest you in 45 minutes. They said there will be legal action and this is a federal offense. When you ask a question, or laugh, they hang up. Don't be fooled by these people, they claim to be from the US Treasury and that you owe thousands of dollars in taxes.

Automated message saying proceedings against me had begun and if it didn't call back I could be found guilty for a federal offense. ITS A SCAM! I hate calls like this! Luckily I'm educated against crap like this but I feel for people that aren't.

Got 4 calls from him today. He says his name is David Green now. Same line, US Treasury, federal grand jury, magistrate, etc.

Recording claiming he was with the feds and if I ignored the call, it would be a federal offense.  I should call back immediately

Received three such calls today  from 302-440-0563 (caller ID said it was a Delaware-based number)..same old spiel... 'call us or face the Federal cosequences'. The worst thing? My voice mail recorded each call not once, but three times before I could disconnect...    Colorado

I  had no sooner finished reporting here about  scam call from 302-440-0563 when the phone rang (caller from  number 843-418-4804) and the same message repeated!! How do we stop this crap?     Colorado

Getting 302-440-0563 calls every two hours.  Same line, US Treasury, federal grand jury, magistrate, etc.  Colorado front range.

Same "David Grey" federal treasury call mentioned elsewhere.  They called 5 times in 3 hours today before I bothered to call them back.  When I did, I asked for the guy's exact office location.  He asked why I needed it, and I said I wanted to call back through the regular Treasury Switchboard.  At that point, the fellow politely said, "OK YOU [***], [***] YOU" and hung up.  Unfortunately, they haven't stopped calling. If I call them again, I'll put them on hold for a long time.

They just called me too, left no message.  Soon we'll be getting calls from the candidates that should do something about unwanted phone calls, including their calls.

SCAM and lies! Just called my house, I called back, the lady said she was calling from the United States Treasury regarding a lawsuit filed against me and I would need to pay them money. I told her I knew it was a scam - she hung up on me. I also reported call to my phone company.

caller told me if I didn't pay back taxes there is a federal warrant out for my arrest. Told him to come and arrest me so I don't have to go to work this afternoon, hung up on me
