They said they were the canadian taxes agency but the call is from Delaware lol...it is a call to call them back because the call is recorded. The whitepages.com tells that the phone number is from a lady call Tiana...so found out there that this was a scam

They called saying that they were CRA. I questioned why the CRA would be calling from a Delaware local outside Canada. He said it was confidential. I said then this is a scam and hung up.

This sounds like a phishing scam call. In the message he claimed if I didn't call back ASAP I would face prosecution. I called the Delaware State Police who said I would need to talk to someone in my local police dept in Canada who could then pursue it with them.

I would just block the number. They call from overseas so reporting them might have little effect.

i have been calling them back and harassing them.  i got them really mad...kind of fun

Called and left me a message saying it was a legal office of Robert William and if I didn't call back I would face legal action. Interesting it showed up as a local number on my call display ...but left the 302 number to call back in a computerized message.

302-440-2401 called us today with a record saying it is from CRA, and ask us or our lawyer to call them back. This scammer may get so many people Debunked them, so they changed to play record now. It would be really fun to have lawyers calling these scammers.

This number is being used as a CRA scam. Do not waste anytime with them!

same BS here supposedly CRA they said if they didnt hear from me or my attorney big trouble would come lol!! it was even a robo call

Scam: for those into the details. Elderly pretending to be a Marshall state office, he was an "independent contractor" alluding I was a person of interest to a person with my same last name.  This old man called himself: Marshall D. Green calling from the Attorney Office and insisted I was a person of interest or involved "somehow" to this other person (created a relationship). Recurred to legal terminology in order to intimidate. They left a call back number. They sound very convincing. Do not be deceived. They are a total SCAM!
