This is Delmarva Energy Rewards program that want to come out and install a device on your air conditioner so they can control it during excessive heat days.  I would not let them do it, as they can "adjust" your comfort level to the way they believe you should have, not the way you want.  Oh, and you cannot override the adjustment either.  You do, however, get $40 off your first bill.

The caller attempted to force me to get the program despite my disinterest.  As Carianne states, I am not comfortable handing over control of my unit to the utility.  Not impressed with the $40.00.  I sent an email to Delmarva customer service and called the toll free number for the energy program telling them I am not interested.

Yeah I just got call too from Atlantic EWR and in the winter on the news it malfunctioned and people were without heat had to turn on their stoves to keep warm what a scam brain idea. I did not let them either and told them off they said they will take my number off the call list..lol Jerks
