- acsamaya8| 2 repliesYes, I have been getting calls stating that they are some sort of mediation company and that I'm being taken to court for an old debt.
- Shannon stratford replies to acsamaya8Yes. I just got the same recorded message this message is intended for "Shannon" with all the crap that goes along with it. What kind of legitimate company answers the phone "mediation services'. I left them a longggggggg voicemail with my address to send me proof of debt owed. I work for am attorneys office so I know my rights and they MUST send you proof of debt. People don't just serve you on threats. These people need to be stopped once and for all. We need to report them to the FTC and anyone else who can stop them. Any legitimate collection agency will never threaten you or not produce proof of debt owed. That is just how it works.
- Shannon stratfordYes and then they call family members who I haven't spoken to in 10 years who have no idea what is going on. It is all a scam. Any legitimate collection agency will provide you with proof of debt and never threaten you.
- Christy stallings| 2 repliesI’ve been getting calls from this number as well as many other numbers with the exact approaches. They have contacted my family and friends, they have threatened me with a judgement or employment garnishment. I finally talked to someone today who was so I professional and got very ugly with me and called me a liar and I couldn’t afford a lawyer.. I knew right then it was a scam. The scary part is they have my ss number and address. I have contacted me identity guard and credit bureaus.

- L| 1 replyCan anyone verify whether this is legit or not? I’m doubtful but it sounds so threatening.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Terri Moore replies to Christy stallingsI also recieved a call from them today at 2 PM. I did not speak with an agent however they left me a voicemail that was threatening but just curious how they got your SS# and your address? Did they provide this information to you over the phone?
- Ash DIt’s a scam y’all! Yes they have some of your information and I don’t know how they are getting it but they are con artists. My credit is excellent so I know for a fact they are lying. They say they are a law firm and they are taking me to court for an old debt. Yeah right! They use threatening language and called some of my family members. You all have to remember Equifax (the credit bureau) was Hacked a few years ago, so ALL of our information is out there being sold on the dark web. Don’t fall for it. Say nothing and hang up.
- Caller: Webber Law firm

- Ash D replies to LIt’s a scam. Legitimate companies send letters, they don’t call and threaten you.

- YoliJust got the call and that if no response, my job will be notified, etc.
- LuciI have been getting these calls too, I typically dont answer calls when I dont know the number but they left a threatening voicemail. It seemed obvious it was a scam to me since mediation doesnt happen unless the two disputing parties agree to it & even then there isnt one governing 'department' called the mediation department! So ridiculous, odd thing is, I called them back to get their info & demand proof of debt all that, but they were looking for my ex husband! We haven't been married for almost 20 yrs & he has since passed away. Hope that means I'm not on their list to attempt this scam next! They're probably buying lists of people & dont know they're getting scammed too by buying lists of dead people! Lol!
- Caller: Mediation Department
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Eric replies to acsamaya8They called my cell phone twice and didn’t leave a message. They claimed to be threatening to file a judgement on an old debt that is well beyond the statue of limitations. They had the last 4 of my social.

- Carmem replies to Christy stallingsJust got the same call. So intimidate.. Does anybody knows what are they looking for? They call themselves mediators..
- AndyThey called me threatening to take me to court about a debt that was discharged in a bankruptcy. Right then I knew it was a scam because collection was barred on a debt discharged in a bankruptcy.
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- HaehnelThey called and left a voicemail stating they were a "mediation department" hired to process a complaint and they needed to verify my employment and if there was no reply they would forward the complaint to my local jurisdiction. I called the number they provided (302-504-6223) and it turns out they were looking for my brother. I was concerned about him until I started reading the notes on this page and concluded it was probably a scam. I will let my brother know about it but tell him not to contact them.
