Called 7 times within 45 minutes from 3 different numbers to leave a message for an individual for whom this phone line does not belong.

After returning the call to let them know the wrong number was on file, I received "rude" inquiries about who "I" was.

Called back and asked to speak with a supervisor but was disconnected twice.  They claimed someone had been approved for a 4000.00 loan and needed details to transfer funds into their account.  

Yea right, it would seem during the loan application process that information would've been made available at that time...sounds a bit scammish to me.
